Kentucky Falls to South Carolina

Number 1 Kentucky falls to unranked South Carolina 68-62. This was Kentucky's first loss of the season. Now there are no unbeaten teams in the nation. This was the first time in school history that South Carolina beat a number 1 team . Leading scorer Devan Downey led the way with 30 points and Brandis Raley Ross chipped in 17. Kentucky got a monster game from freshman Demarcus Cousins who had 27 points and 12 rebounds. Player of the year candidate John Wall added 19 points. South Carolina improved there record to 12-8 while Kentucky falls to 19-1.
